Is Bangladesh suitable for Mega Event?

Fifth edition of ICC world t20 to be played in Bangladesh, starting 16^th March of next year.

Unfortunately, host nation is facing severe political tensions inside the country and it seems that Bangladesh’s high official are failed to resolve peace and security issues in their boundary which are becoming worse from bad. As ICC and other cricket boards had previously shown their concern on security risk that is (Pakistan), then this time too they should think about their security. Otherwise, people will not take long to judge ICC and other boards’ conspiracy against team Pakistan.

As there is not much time left in the mega event and schedule which is already prepared, ICC at first should move this event to another much safer country whose premises doesn’t affect the craze of mega happening.

If ICC is not ready to replace Bangladesh for fifth edition of T20 world cup, then PCB and other cricket boards should show their concern to ICC or in other case, it will be better to withdraw from the event because players and officials life worth more than the loss that BCB will bear.

آئیے ہم ایک امریکی ریاست بنجائیں !‌

مشرک اور منافق، اِن دونوں لفظوں میں موجودہ سیاستدانوں کی تصویر واضح 

دکھائی دیتی ہے۔ 

اگر یہ مشرک نہ ہوتے تو انہیں امریکہ سے زیادہ خدا پہ یقین ہوتا، اور دوسری طرف انکی منافقت کی مثال امریکی ڈرونز کے خلاف پالیسی سے ظاہر ہوتی ہے۔ نہ یہ آقا کا روٹھنا برداشت کرسکتے ہیں اور نہ ہی عوام کا، بلکہ عوام کا روٹھنا بھی بھلا کوئی روٹھنا ہوا؟ 

موجودہ ملکی صورتِحال سے صاف ظاہر ہے کہ حکومت، اپوزیشن سب ایک ہی صف میں کھڑے ہیں اور اس مرتبہ بھی عوام ہی ہے جو تنہے تنہا بکھری ہوئی ہے۔اور  نہ ہی انمیں اتحاد ہے جو تبدیلی کو جنم دے، جس کا بھرپور فائدہ حکمران طبقے کو حاصل ہے۔ 

آج کے دن کیوں نہ ہم سب حکومت کے ساتھ ملجائیں اور امریکی غلامی کا کھلا اعلان کردیں پھر نہ ہی ہمیں امریکی امداد کی کوئی فکر ہوگی اور نہ ہی ان طعنوں کی جو ہمیں امریکی امداد کے عوض ملتے ہیں کیونکہ پھر ہم سب امریکہ کی ایک ریاست بنکر رہینگے، سبز کارڈ گرین کارڈ میں‌تبدیل ہوجائیگا، تمام قرضے اتر جائینگے، بیرونی ملک سے مختلف کمپنیز ایڑھی چوٹی کا زور لگا کر پاکستان میں کاروبار کا آغاز کرینگی، اور ہاں سب سے اہم مثلا یعنی دہشتگردی کو بھی یہاں سے نکل کر کسی اور مزاحمتی مسلم ملک کا رخ کرنا ہوگا کیونکہ۔۔۔۔۔۔

 مجھے پورا یقین ہے کہ ہماری غیرت اس بات کو کبھی گوارہ نہیں کریگی کہ ہم اس بات کو اپنی سوچ کا محور بنائیں  مگر مجھے شبئہ ہے کہ کہیں ہم درحقیقت اس بات کے سوچنے پر مجبور نہ ہوجائیں!‌

                                    MALALA FROM PEOPLE’S SIGHT 

9th October 2012, when Jinnah’s Pakistan was changed into Malala’s Pakistan, from the view few of the previous government’s official. But for sure, this is not an opinion of a common citizen of our homeland.
These days social media is solely focusing on one issue and that is Nobel Peace Prize for Malala, and most of the Pakistani’s seems to be against it and highly criticizing Malala Yusufzai and his father Ziauddin Yusufzai respectively, because people are extremely confused on the focus given by international and local media to Malala, when there are hundreds of other citizens who are sacrificing their lives and are also giving up their efforts whether in education or in war against terror.

The only issue with rest of the Pakistani’s was that, they didn’t get the chance to meet any official of international news media to highlight themselves, but Malala fortunately or unfortunately got that chance and avail it quite curiously. 

Malala’s incident was a big question against Army’s rit in Swat, but that’s not an issue because hundreds of killings were normal in those particular days in entire Pakistan. The issue is why only Malala got that much limes light and special care in military hospital and after that in hospitals abroad? Why high executives of country visited her in hospital? Why President Obama particularly raised her issue in his statements? Why U.N General Secretary Baan Ki-Moon raised resolution for her in assembly? When they have no time for Kashmir and Palestinian issue? These are the big questions that need to be answered; otherwise people themselves will create something in their minds.

In the end, I would like to humbly request General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani to visit those who became victims of the drone attacks before 29^th of next month officially as he visited Malala particularly as we are all equal and needs the kindness of high officials as they were for Malala.

ہائے چنچی ہائے !!‌

ہمارے ایک قریبی دوست کو عشق کا نہیں بلکہ عشق کرنے کا بخار چڑھا مگر انکو اپنی دال یونیورسٹی میں تو  غلتی دکھائ نا دے رہی تھی-  اب جب بھی وہ اپنے بقیہ کام یعنی مراسلوں کی تکمیل کی طرف بڑھتے تو انہیں لکھنے کے لئے کوئ خاص موضوع نہ ملتا  جو معاشرے کی تباہی کا باعث بن رہا ھو۔ ۔ چونکہ وہ دوست حادثاتی طور پر ابلاغ عامہ میں آٹپکے تھے تو انہیں زبردستی ھی لکھنا پڑرہا تھا اور جب بھی وہ کسی طرح اپنے انتھائ فارغ وقت میں سے اس کام کو اپنا وقت دیتے تو انکے ذہن میں یہ خیال جنم لیتا کے یونیورسٹی تک آجانے کہ بعد بھی انہیں عشق نہ ھوا؟ 
 اگلے دن جب وہ جامعہ جانے کی غرض سے اپنی کار میں سوار ہوئے ھی تھے کہ انکی نظر اپنی گاڑی کے آگے چلنے والے چنچی پر پڑی اور ایسی پڑی کہ بس تھم سی گئی اور وہ اپنے دل سے کہنے لگے۔۔۔ یہی ھے وہ جو بیٹھی تو چنچی کی پچھلی طرف کو ہے مگر گاڑی کے اندر محسوس ھو رھی ھے۔ ۔ ۔ اب آپ لوگ خود بتائیے کہ اگر کوئ شخص گاڑی چلاتے ہوئے اپنے دماغ آخر میں اتنی گہری سوچوں میں گم رھیگا تو اسکا کیا نتیجہ نکلے گا؟ جی ہاں آپ صحیح سمجھے۔ ۔ چنچی ڈرائیور نے رنگ میں بھنگ ڈالتے ھوئے اچانک اپنی سمت بائیں عور کرلی اور ھمارے دوست کی نظریں جو کسی حسین تخلیق پر جمی ہوئیں تھی اب اس کا سامنا منہ میں گٹکا دبائے ھوئے بس کنڈکٹر سے ھوا اور میرا دوست اس کنڈکٹر کے حسن کی تاب نا لاتے ہوئے سیدھا اس بس میں ہی جا ٹکرایا۔ ۔ اور جب میں اس سے ملنے ھسپتال گیا تو چپ چاپ بیٹھا کچھ لکھ رھا تھا اور جب مینے دریافت کیا تو غم زدہ لہجے میں کہنے لگا۔ ۔ ۔ مراسلہ لکھ رہا ہوں اور عنوان ھے "کمسن چنچی 
ڈرائیور" بس تب سے جو ھنسی شروع ھوئی وہ اب تک نہ تھمی ۔ ۔ ۔ 

Same menu for next year too?

 ستمبر22  2014 یعنی آج سے ٹھیک ایک برس بعد، کیا صورتحال ہوگی ھمارے وطن کی؟ کیا اسی طرح ٹی وی چینلز پر تجزیہ نگاروں کا ایک سمندر ھماری اسکرینز کے کناروں سے ٹکرا رہا ھوگا اور ان سب کا موضوع ایک سال قبل ہوا دھماکہ ھوگا جسمیں قریب 80 بےگناہ مارے گئے تھے؟ کیا ایک سال بعد بھی ہر سانحے کی طرح اس واقعے کے بھی ملزمان کی تلاش جاری ھوگی؟ کیا اسی طرح سول سوسائیٹی اپنی شمعوں کے دھوئیں کو فضائوں میں ضائع کرتی رہینگی؟ اور کیا ھم لوگ تب بھی دہشتگروں کے ساتھ اسی طرح‌چھپن چھپائ کھیلتے رہینگے؟ عوامی نیشنل پارٹی کی بندوق عمران خان صاحب کی حکومت اور پیپلز پارٹی کا حدف متحدہ ہی بنی رہیگی؟ اور عوام ان سب کے درمیان پس کر کیا اسی طرح‌ اپنے پیاروں سے بچھرتی رہیگی؟‌کیا ھوگا ایک سال بعد کون دیگا ان سوالوں کا جواب؟ 

کیا میں یا آپ ایک سال بعد ان سوالوں کے جواب جاننے کے لئے زندہ بھی رھینگے 
یا ھم لوگ بھی۔ ۔ ۔ ۔

This is not a Muslim’s Act  

From the last few months, there is a message which is being turning around on social websites and mobile phones about suicide attackers, that these only targets Mosques of different sects but not on events and places which are disliked by many in our eastern or Muslim culture and on the other hand, attackers in most of the cases pretend to be followers of Islam. It doesn’t mean that Islam allows attacks on places which are against its teachings, Islam gives a peaceful way of living and a lesson of harmony that even if someone is destroying ones cultural or religious values, a Muslim at first must do a dialogue with him and try to convince him for good or at least to keep bad practices to his own self, rather torturing or slay his or her life. Bravely speaking, if these terrorist are considering themselves as Muslims, then I feel sorry for them and surely will pray for their guidance because I can’t do anything more than that.

Time to wakeup team Pakistan

Team Pakistan loosing from young Zimbabwean side is actually cricket’s victory. After regaining their test team status, Zimbabweans looked sober in game and their spirit at the moment is at peak. The team members of Zimbabwean side gets only 20$ per day for match which are equal to about 2500 PKR whereas team Pakistan is highly rich on this area and gets many more than the poor Zimbabweans but if we compare the performance of our national side, they justly deserve 20$ a day! Except of few older players whose prayers and performances are actually running our test and one-day team somehow.

Many senior players who are playing first class cricket for more than ten years are in our test side but the way they played was not less than’ gully’ cricket i.e” irresponsible cricket.” On the other hand, young side played a mature cricket and was looking fully motivated for improving their test ranking to play against bigger teams than Pakistan like;  Bangladesh, Srilanka, Australia etc.

Alarming situation has come for team Pakistan to improve their basics and look forward for their future tours, which are against South Africa and Srilanka who are far better teams than young Zimbabweans and after that the mighty world cup which really needs preparation before entering the competition. Otherwise result will not be different from last two tournaments. 

Something to Cheer For.... "Pakistani's"

The  “near  to  die”  Pakistani  cinema  industry, finally  got  a  wall  to  hold  itself  from  a  complete fall.

The nomination of movie “Zinda Bhaag” in Oscar is a towering achievement of Lollywood and it has been said that Pakistan’s film industry is back in business.

 The industry which grasps more than 700 cinemas in past has only few more than hundred today.

Many reasons were been given for the collapse of industry by  film critiques and among them main reasons were the same theme of movies, which started in middle of the last century in the name of romance and after that “Gandaasa” culture ruled our cinema which turned people’s mind towards eastern side of the sub-continent i.e “Bollywood “, resulting a giant decrease in production of local films about 25 a year.

Ice was finally broke down when Shoaib Mansoor’s “Khuda Ke Lie” entered Pakistani cinema and after that a number of emerging actors, directors and producers stepped into the deep sea of film industry.

Shahzad Nawaz is also one of them whose “Chambeli, The Fragrance Of Freedom” released in April this year and succeeded in provoking thoughts  among  youngsters of the country. A new kind of script, idea and vision was picked up happily by Pakistani audience and they become hopeful to beat neighboring cinemas soon.

Furthermore the cooperation of ISPR in making movies like WAR, Operation 021 and Saaya-e-Khudaye Zuljalal which are ready to release, will give a rise to cinema and provide the sense among people of “what actually is going on around them.” But, we shouldn’t rely completely on movies based on the subject of “revolution” or “war against terror” otherwise it will not take time to turn this era into same which destroyed the cinema industry.

Al last there is something to cheer for Pakistani audience as their fully own movie is now nominated for Oscar… hurray!

9/11 1948 !

آج پھر سے دل رونے کو کیا جب میں انتظار کرتا رہ گیا ۔ ۔ ۔ پہلی خبر، پھر دوسری، پھر تیسری، چوتھی اور آخرکار نیوز 
ایڈیٹرز کو یاد آہی گیا کہ آج 9/11 کہ نام نہاد سانہے کہ علاوہ بھی ایک ایسی حقیقت کا اس ملک کو سامنا کرنا پڑا تھا جس کا اثر آج تک اس بدنصیب قوم پرتوشاید نہ صحیح مگر اس ملک پر ضرور ہے۔۔۔ قائدِاعظم مرحوم کو ہم سے بچھرے پینسٹھ سال بیت گئے۔ ۔ کوئ لاکھ کوشش کرلے مگر ہمارے دلوں سے مادرٍِِ وطن کی عظمت کو نہیں‌نکال پائےگا۔ ۔ مگر جب ہم خود ہی اپنے اندر سے اس عزت و احترام کے رشتے کو نکال باہر کرینگے تو پھر یقیناً رسوائ ہمارا مقدر بنے گی ۔ ۔

ایک زرداری سب پہ بھاری۔ ۔ ۔ پالیسیوں‌سے لاکھ اختلاف صحیح مگر سیاست اگر خدمت کا دوسرا نام نہیں اور اسی طرح جمہوریت کو پٹری پر چلانے کا نام ہے تو یقین کرلیجئے صدر زرداری سب پر بازی لے گئے ۔ ۔ اس قدر سلجھی ہوی شخصیت جس نے کبھی بھی زیادہ کی حوس نہ کی ۔ ۔ مطلب یہ کہ آہستہ آہستہ ملک کو عروج پر پہنچایا. . .  نصیب والوں کے حصے میں ہی آتی ھے  ۔ ۔ ۔آگے آپ خود   سمجھدار ہیں                                                                                   ۔  ۔

HOCKEY TEAM NEEDS SUPPORT

No need to change the management and staff of Pakistan Hockey Federation. Despite the fact that Pakistan for the first time didn’t qualify for the world cup and it’s a disgrace for our national game that we didn’t deliver what actually our game wants. Our higher authorities were very serious in early 70’s when they presented the idea and also first world cup trophy to world hockey federation because they were sincere with not only their national game but their love with hockey was actually immense.

If we look at the performance of team Pakistan at Asia cup ended up 1^st of this month. Pakistan after a long time played an aggressive hockey with continuous counter attacks, there was also a mistake of not finishing the plan properly but the lead from which Pakistan won with its opponent was a huge one i.e  7-0 against Japan, 4-1 against home team and 13-0 against Chinese Taipei and on the other hand loosing  semi final with 2-1  after playing a tough game against defending champions.

One has to win and other has to be beaten, that’s what we call a game. Let us give them a chance for betterment of hockey from the grass root level that we can not only qualify for the 2018 world cup but also repeat history by having victorious crown on our heads.

آپریشن سے قبل اگر بار بار مریض سے مخاطب ہوکر کہا جائے کہ بس ایک ھفتے بعد تمہاری زندگی کا فیصلہ ہونے والا ہے جس میں تمہارے بچنے کی امیدیں بہت کم ہیں اور ساتھ یہ لفظ بھی جوڑ‌ دئے جائیں کہ آپریشن اگر نہ کروایا جائے تو شاید مزید وقت زندگی کی رنگینیوں کے مزے لیسکو ۔ ۔  تو اگر اس مریض میں‌ نمک برابر بھی عقل ہوگی تو وہ آپریشن کے راستے سے بہت سے بھی زیادہ دور"بھاگ" جائے گا ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔
 بس یہی حال اس بیمار شہر کراچی کے ڈاکٹروں "پاکستان کے حکمرانوں" کا ہے -

TODAY I AM GUILTY

To  join  forces  of  Pakistan  is  a  dream  of  about  every  growing  kid  of  a  patriotic  family. Many  of them  prefer  to  join  “ARMY”, because  from  the  very  first  day  of  independence  army   played   a vital  role  in  protecting  country’s  integrity  and  sovereignty. But  fortunately,  only  cream  of the candidates  get  selected,  whether  commissioned  officers  or   junior commissioned  officers  (JCO’s). Those  blessed  soldiers  who  successfully  achieved  their  first  aim,  soon  think  about  their  next  endeavor  i.e “Martyrdom.”

Once  again  only blessed  ones   receive  the console of  “Martyrdom.” Pakistani forces have a great number  of soldiers  who  embraced  martyrdom and one thing more, the number of  commissioned officers  got martyrdom is higher than other countries of the world, because   our officers knows  the rule of “ Leading From The Front.”

From  last few days I am consistently thinking about the decision of Punjab Text Book Board, of removing chapters  of our highest military award recipients. Here, I am  not mentioning the name of Martyrs who sacrificed a father in  them, a son in them, a husband and many other relations which all in one broke only for the sake of motherland. In one line… Today I am feeling guilty, don’t know why but these typical steps taken by different boards were also seen in past when there were Quranic Verses, History of  Sahabas  and others were removed from different  courses that  should be stopped in future for the sake of our  next generation.

آج ہی فیصلہ کیجئے!

سارا دن جب آپ بھارتی جارحیت پر تبصرے کر کے تھک جاتے ھیں تو یقیناٌ آپکو آرام کرنے کی چاھ بھی محسوس ھوتی ھوگی- اور آرام صرف پر سکون نیند سے حاصل نھیں ھوتا بلکہ کئ بار انسان کھیں گھومنے پھرنے کو بھی ترجیح دیتا ھے اور اگر آپ ان میں سے کسی عمل پر عمل پیرا نھیں ھونا چاھتے تو فکر مت کیجئے آپکے اپنے پاکستانی نشریاتی اداروں نے صرف اپنے ناظرین کو انٹرٹین کرنے کی غرض سے مجبوراً اسے شدت پسند پڑوسی ملک کی عکس کردہ فلمیں دکھانی پڑتی ھیں کیونکہ شاید ھمارے ملک میں انٹرٹینمنٹ نام کی کوئ چڑیا نھیں پائ جاتی- اور ھم بھی ایل او سی کو بھلا کر بھارتی فلموں کے سحر میں ایسا جکڑ جاتے ھیں کہ ھمیں کیپٹن سرفراز شھید کی شھادت سے زیادہ کسی فرضی کردار کی موت پر غم ھوتا ھے اور اگلی صبح خبرنامہ دیکھتے ھی پھر سے ھم بھارت کے خلاف یک زباں ھوجاتے ھیں مگر رات کو ان ھی کے اداکاروں کے سامنے بیٹھے بین بجا رھے ھوتے ھیں- بھتر یہ ھوگا کہ ھم پہلے تہ کرلیں کہ ھم بحیثیت قوم کیا چاھتے ھیں؟ ھم ایک دن تو انکے ڈراموں اور فلموں کے بغیر رہ نہیں سکتے تو پھر نفرت کا یہ ڈرامہ کیوں؟‌ ھمیں چاھیئے کہ ھم دیوار کے کسی ایک پار اتر جائیں- آخر کب تک دیوار پر یونہی چوروں کی طرح بیٹھے رھینگے۔ ۔ اس بات کا فیصلہ جلد سے جلد کرنا ھوگا
